Welcome to Honeybee Lane! My name is Dylan Bowin. I have been married to my husband,Jared,for almost 10 years and am the mama to 3 fab kiddos, Bear, Jolie and Rollie.
I have had a love for dogs my entire life. But, it REALLY grew when I was about 14 years old. I had two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that were just the sweetest dogs in the whole world. We got Cady and Cici at a pretty hard time in our life and they got us through a lot of tough days. They were just the perfect addition at the perfect time in our life.
As I got older and got married, my husband was an elite dog trainer and an avid hunter and he had a Labrador retriever named Hawk. He was everything you could have wanted in a dog. Smart, loyal, loving, protective, snuggly, goofy, polite, the list could go on and on …. and watching him train with Jared was my most favorite activity. That was when I decided we had to breed Labradors.
We then got Gemma, our first female Lab from field trial stock lines and off we went! We had kids in the mean time and after she turned 4 we had our first litter! Bear was 3 and Jolie was 2 and watching them with the puppies just filled my heart with SO MUCH joy! But, we decided we needed a breed that didn’t require extensive hours training since we had our human kiddos now.
After extensive research on temperaments, colors, genetics etc we decided to invest in our first doodles and we became Honeybee Lane Doodles! (fun fact: the Honeybee Lane name comes from our first family business, Bear's Bees Company)We LOVE our Australian Labradoodles, Australian Bernedoodles and Australian Cavoodles.I love they have spaniel AND Labrador lineage. My two favorites! WIN WIN! And they have the same loving/loyal temperaments as my first dogs that I loved so much.  Not to mentioned they make THE PERFECT family dogs.
We have a passion for helping families that need therapy dogs/emotional support/service dogs and have donated multiple dogs to the working field, ranging from dentist offices, schools and children's therapy offices. I also come from a  military family and have also sent out puppies to fallen soldier families and vets.  I fully believe a dog can heal a heart and help more than any person can. Dogs TRULY are a man’s best friend.
We are so proud of our dogs and what our business has become. Our ultimate goal is to have happy, healthy puppies go to amazing families that get to experience the love of a dog 🐾
